Wasserflue (844 m/2'769 ft) is a well known vantage point. I wanted to capture first light there but the fog was so thick there was no sun to be seen. The weather just didn't play ball. Instead, I ended up taking pictures of trees.
I can't remember seeing clouds that low. A rather unusual view of clouds lingering below the horizon long after the sun has set. Yes, it's a night shot.
The sun is setting on the Ratenpass (1'077 m/3'533 ft). I like the barely visible tree tops right below the sun.
