I can't remember seeing clouds that low. A rather unusual view of clouds lingering below the horizon long after the sun has set. Yes, it's a night shot. Raten, Oberägeri ZG.
The sun is setting on the Ratenpass (1'077 m/3'533 ft). I like the barely visible tree tops right below the sun. Raten, Oberägeri ZG.
It snowed the end of October in Central Switzerland, which is quite unusual, so there was plenty of snow on the Ratenpass (1'077 m/3'533 ft). Another curiosity was that my Lee filters froze because the mountain pass lay in thick clouds, mist, and the temperatures were below zero. A thin sheet of ice covered them, I couldn't use them. Nevertheless, this didn't prevent me from taking pictures. Down in the valley you can see some houses of Rothenthurm, the village is more to the right though. Raten, Oberägeri ZG.
